No matter where you are travelling to, some things remain the same. There are several key elements to planning a successful safari. They will ensure that your trip is successful, fun and hassle-free. This article will cover 5 essential tips to take note of before you embark on your safari adventure.

Tip 1: Check your reservations on both the hotel you are staying at and your traveling plans.

It never hurts to double-check your reservations just in case something unexpected happened and it is no longer available. You do not want to end up in a foreign place without a place to stay for the night. So before leaving for your trip ensure you cross-check your reservations to ensure that they are in place.

Tip 2: Pack your essentials and a change of clothes in a carry on i.e. aside from your main luggage.

Most might think it is bulky to carry more than just your huge suitcase, but you never know what might happen to your luggage in transit. Therefore, it is advisable to pack a small bag with your essentials which you keep close to you at all times. No money in a strange place is definitely on my top 5 scary things, so to be on the safe side pack a carry-on.

Tip 3: Ensure you pack your Travelling Essentials.

For most people, the essentials are such as money, identification papers, toiletries and a change of clothes. I completely agree, but in addition to these, also include a toothbrush and you are golden (bad breath is not fun).

Tip 4: Know some emergency numbers of where you are going.

I know I’ve talked a lot about expecting the unexpected but it is important to be prepared. Hence, knowing where the nearest hospital is or even the nearest bank (just in case you spot awesome souvenirs) is essential when planning for your trip.

Tip 5: Always Pack a Camera

You never want to miss capturing those amazing and precious moments with your family and friends. So carry a digital camera with good resolution and capture those moments to share and rekindle memories long after your safari
On that note,
HAPPY TRAVELLING!!!
